At Maison Gourmestan, we take pride in delivering freshly prepared cakes, premium batters, and handcrafted baked products made with care. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we maintain a transparent and fair refund and cancellation policy to ensure customer satisfaction while protecting product quality.

1. Order Cancellation Policy

  • Orders may be cancelled only before they are processed or dispatched.

  • Once an order has been prepared, baked, packed, or dispatched, cancellation will not be possible.

  • Customized or made-to-order products cannot be cancelled once production has started.

2. Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds only under the following conditions:

  • The product was delivered in a damaged or defective condition

  • You received an incorrect product

  • The product was significantly compromised during transit

To be eligible for a refund:

  • You must notify us within 24–48 hours of delivery

  • You must provide clear photos and your order number as proof

Due to hygiene and food safety regulations, we cannot accept returns of perishable food items once delivered unless they meet the conditions mentioned above.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Change of mind after delivery

  • Incorrect shipping information provided by the customer

  • Delivery delays caused by courier services beyond our control

  • Minor variations in design, color, or decoration in handcrafted/custom cakes

4. Refund Processing

  • Once your request is reviewed and approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method.

  • Refunds typically take 7–15 business days depending on your bank or payment provider.

  • In certain cases, store credit may be offered as an alternative.

5. Failed Deliveries

If delivery fails due to:

  • Incorrect address

  • Recipient unavailable

  • Incorrect contact details

Maison Gourmestan is not responsible for refunds in such cases. Re-delivery charges may apply.
